BOOK NOWDoctor consultation
20 minutes – £30
Chinese medicine or acupuncture consultation inquires many aspects of your life, such as sleeping patterns, digestion, emotional state, diet, and lifestyle. Unique to Chinese medicine diagnosis, your tongue and pulse may be examined, and areas of concern may be palpated.
Prior to your first visit, you may want to think about or write down your health history, including surgeries, injuries, allergies and medications you are on. Please also take time to think or write down how the current problem or conditions were developed and how they have been investigated and treated. Please have this information ready as this will help you to have the most effective consultation with our doctor.
Once a Chinese medicine diagnosis is made, our doctor will develop the treatment plan with you that is most suitable to your situation. The treatment could be acupuncture alone, herbal medicine alone, a combination of both or other combinations of other treatments too.
First time consultation for new patients with our doctor at Secret Oasis is a must and will be charged. Treatments such as Acupuncture or Chinese Cupping cannot be performed without a thorough consultation. Follow up treatments will also involve consultation but may be free of charge.
BOOK NOWAcupuncture
30 minutes – £60
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain and improve overall wellness.
Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as chi or qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.
BOOK NOWFertility acupuncture
60 minutes – £100
Our doctor can support you at each stage of your fertility journey, whether you are trying to conceive naturally or through assisted conception: IVF, IUI, ICSI.

- Regulate menstrual cycle
- Increased blood flow to reproductive organs
- Improve embryo implantation
- alleviate stress and anxiety
- improving pregnancy rates
Cupping (Ho Guan)
30 minutes – £45
Our doctor at Secret Oasis uses the most traditional Chinese way of cupping – Fire cupping. It is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy that works by helping to remove any blockages stopping the flow of Qi (pronounced ‘chee’) in the body.
The doctor will place warm glass cups onto a specific acupuncture point along an energy meridian. By warming the air within each cup, a vacuum is created that draws the tissue inside when placed onto the skin. This helps increase the blood flow, loosening the connective tissue, and stimulates the body’s natural healing process.
Sometimes if the condition requires, the doctor will also use techniques such as sliding the cups along the muscle to stretch, like in the action of a massage, or will use a technique that is called pop cupping, this technique encourages further blood and Qi flow to the muscles. The cups will then be gently removed by lifting one edge, allowing air to flow back in, breaking the vacuum seal.
BOOK NOWTraditional Chinese herbal medicine
per week – £80
The underlying principles of TCM are very different from traditional Western notions about health, illness and the workings of the body. Chinese herbs are prescribed to normalise imbalanced energy, or Qi (pronounced ‘chee’), that runs through invisible meridians in the body. Whether or not the philosophy is believed, studies have shown Chinese herbal medicines to be successful in treating a range of disorders, particularly gynaecological and gastrointestinal disorders.
The TCM philosophy proposes that everything including organs of the body – is composed of the five elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. The herbs are similarly classified into the five tastes – sweet, salty, bitter, pungent and sour – which correspond to the five elements, for example, since the skin is a metal element Yang organ, it would be treated with a pungent herb.
BOOK NOWChinese Tui Na massage
60 minutes – £85
Tui Na massage is a highly effective functional massage that is quite different from other massage techniques such as Swedish or deep tissue massage. The style of massage is vigorous and involves quite a lot of rubbing, kneading and manipulation to stimulate blood flow, ease muscle tension and clear blockages and stagnation of Qi. Tui Na massage is not a relaxing massage but instead is a powerful therapeutic tool for a number of various acute and chronic conditions.
Chinese reflexology
30 minutes – £50
Chinese foot reflexology is very different from Western Reflexology (the Ingham Method). While both agree that your feet contain extra sensitive areas which correspond to all of the organs, glands and other parts of your body, Chinese foot reflexology takes this further into practice. Western Reflexology concentrates on relaxation whereas Chinese Reflexology aims to help the body heal and become stronger.
